• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without our consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain all ownership rights to the resume content, cover letters, and other documents you create using ResumeShip. By using our AI features, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service.

Our content: The ResumeShip platform, including its software, design, templates, and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• ResumeShip offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed as described on our pricing page.
• All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated with reasonable notice and will not affect your current billing period.
• Single-purchase credits (where available) are non-transferable and expire as described at the time of purchase.

6. AI-Assisted Features

ResumeShip offers AI-powered features to help improve your documents. AI-generated content is provided as a suggestion only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before using it. We make no guarantees about the suitability, accuracy, or effectiveness of AI suggestions for your specific job application.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee that using ResumeShip will result in employment or any specific career outcome.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ResumeShip and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to ResumeShip in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResumeShip and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as required by applicable law.
